Welcome to Winterbourne
Winterbourne House & Garden at the University of Birmingham is a seven acre Edwardian Arts and Crafts property on the university's Edgbaston Campus.
The Grade II listed botanic garden is a haven of peace and tranquillity only 15 minutes from the city centre.
Offering colour and interest throughout the year, Winterbourne is home to a beautiful walled garden, an unusual hazelnut tunnel, striking colour themed borders and 1930’s Japanese bridge and tea house.
The garden also displays plants from around the globe with collections of plants from China, North and South America and the Alpine areas of the world.
In May this year, Winterbourne House will also be opening as a heritage attraction, having been restored to its Edwardian Arts and Craft splendour.
