Introducing the new conference facilities at Winterbourne House

In May, Birmingham Conferences & Events will boast 13 new meeting rooms with the unveiling of Winterbourne House – a beautiful Edwardian Arts and Crafts property, set in seven acres of botanic gardens.

Organisers can choose between the historic setting of Winterbourne House or the contemporary Nicolson Building, both offering a range of meeting spaces and the latest technology. All delegates have access to enjoy the botanic garden and the terrace can also be hired for drinks receptions, offering stunning views over the formal lawns at Winterbourne.

Birmingham Conferences & Events offer a range of versatile conference and event facilities at the University of Birmingham, that guarantee value and quality to suit your requirements - whether you are looking for a conference for 1,000, a banquet for 400, or simply lunch for 2.

Located two miles from the city centre, set in beautiful landscaped grounds, the campus is easy to access by car, and has its own train station linking it directly to Birmingham New Street.

The Conference Park at The University of Birmingham, adjacent to the University, is a dedicated conference centre offering year-round day or residential meeting facilities, a range of en-suite accommodation and superior dinning venues. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available for all, whether attending a conference or simply shopping in the city.

On campus, there are over 100 lecture theatres, meeting and syndicate rooms available on a flexible basis for 15 to 1,000 people. The Great Hall, the University’s ceremonial hall, can be used for conferences, exhibitions and award ceremonies for up to 1,000 people or up to 480 people for a banquet or fine dining experience in a truly, stunning location.

Self-catering accommodation in Halls of Residences is available for residential conferences, groups or private individuals. The campus also supports a wide range of attractions to complement your visit, including one of the world’s finest art galleries, The Barber Institute of Fine Art, a Sculpture Trail, Winterbourne House & Garden, plus a number of retail outlets, bars and cafes.
