Flat Inventories - All study bedrooms are fully furnished.  Please check the inventory for your particular site, as items may vary.

Accommodation Rent - Your residence fee includes the following utility charges: heating, electricity, water & lighting.  It also includes a basic insurance, and an internet and telephone service provided by ASK4.  Properties are automatically exempt from Council Tax.

Telephones  – All study bedrooms have a telephone which can be used to make free internal calls across campus. Students can receive incoming calls from external numbers and make external calls from these telephones. However external calls are chargeable. Please refer to the ASK4 information that was included in your Offer pack.

Data Connection – All bedrooms have access to the University’s high speed campus network and internet access.  Please refer to the ASK4  information that was included in your Offer pack.

Personal Possessions Insurance – Included with your residence fee is basic personal possession insurance with Endsleigh Insurance. This provides basic cover including desktop, laptop and palmtop computers. Insurance cover is only provided for the accommodation period (contract). Details of cover and the policy is provided with your accommodation offer pack.


Launderettes and Cleaning - All our villages have coin or token operated launderettes available 24 hours a day. You will need to provide your own bedding and be responsible for its laundering. You can purchase a bedding pack from your accommodation site office for £30. Each pack contains a duvet, pillow, bed sheet, duvet cover and pillow case.

Your room will be cleaned once before the start of the autumn term. You will be responsible for keeping your room, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and hallway clean and tidy during occupancy. HAS will clean the communal areas (stairwells, launderettes etc) around your site on a regular basis. All rooms are inspected once per term.

TV License - Television licenses are not included in the accommodation rent.
