Following a strategic review of University accommodation, the University has given a commitment to provide good quality accommodation for its students. As a result, a planning application has been submitted to Birmingham City Council to redevelop some of the accommodation on the Vale village. If permission is received, some of the halls may be taken out of management and may not be available for student occupation for the 2007/8 and 2008/09 academic years.
