3rd Party Providers - Privately Owned Accommodation (for undergraduates only)

As part of the strategic review of University accommodation some of our older stock has been redeveloped to make way for newer, better accommodation.

In order to maintain the Freshers’ Guarantee Scheme the University has entered into agreements with local private providers to supplement our own stock. These bed spaces form part of the Freshers' Guarantee Scheme and student’s you may be allocated one of these rooms in your first year. These providers work very closely with the University to ensure that the cost and range of facilities and support provided is similar to what you would get living in University accommodation.

We will still manage the application process and send you details of your offer which will include a legally binding contract from the private provider. Again most of this accommodation is close to campus and has good commuter links with the campus and city. A shuttle bus service runs to some of these sites.

Our third party accommodation currently are:

Liberty Beeches (self catered, shared bathroom) - Formerly "The Beeches" - £3549
Liberty Court (self catered, ensuite) - Formerly "Hunter Court" - £4536
Victoria Hall (self catered, ensuite) - £4347 for ensuite and £4599 for deluxe ensuite

Payments

Liberty Beeches (The Beeches)

£200 deposit required
1st payment of £1,419.60 due on 21st September 2009
2nd payment of £1,419.60 due on 18th January 2010
3rd Payment of £709.80 due on 19th April 2010
2% discount if you pay full payment on 21st September 2009

Liberty Court (Hunter Court)

£200 deposit required
1st payment of £1,841.40 due on 21st September 2009
2nd payment of £1,841.40 due on 18th January 2010
3rd Payment of £907.20 due on 19th April 2010
2% discount if you pay full payment on 21st September 2009

Victoria Hall

1st payment of £2,173.50 due on 1st September 2009 or pay £4,347 in full by this date for ensuite room
2nd payment of £2,173.50 due on 13th January 2010 for ensuite room

1st payment of £2,299.50 due on 1st September 2009 or pay £4,599 in full by this date for deluxe ensuite room
2nd payment of £2,299.50 due on 13th January 2010 for deluxe ensuite room

Please note that as these are third party accommodation each student will need a UK guarantor for payment purposes. If you have received an offer for Liberty Living or Victoria Hall, payment will be due directly to them.
