Shackleton is a meal plan residence located centrally on the Vale Village.  There are 72 flats, which mainly consist of 6 to 8 bedrooms, most with ensuite. There are a small number of 2 and 3 bedroom meal plan flats with a shared bathroom, and also self contained studios and apartments, which are on a self catered basis. A total of 350 students are housed on site.
